Ellen co-owned a home building business and spent 23 years preparing homes for sale. In addition to running a decorating accessories business, she renovated her personal residences with an eye to selling, too.

Ellen believes that staging a home to sell is completely different than decorating a home to live in. Staging a home involves "merchandising home amenities" by highlighting the features of a home to appeal to the widest range of potential buyers. The changes Ellen makes to her client's properties have been proven to improve value, enhance the living environment and increase curb appeal.
